How To Remove Moles In Less Than A Week

Disclaimer: DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK. Do not take what I say as medical advice as I am not a medical expert.

Before you go about doing anything with your moles, get them checked out! You want to make sure that your moles aren't cancerous before you try anything. I also suggest that you don't try this on your face as it may leave a scar.

This method worked perfectly for me. I removed 2 moles, one on my head (scalp, under my hair) and one on my thigh, and I only used garlic and vaseline. The one on my thigh however, came back, so I had to do it twice. The best thing about this method is it's super easy and it rarely leaves a scar (some may get scars).

Here is how to remove a mole with garlic:

1. Prepare the garlic. Peel one small clove of garlic. You only need small one as you're only going to cut a small piece the size of your mole. Cut a round circular piece small enough to just cover the surface of your mole, if you cut it any bigger, it will overlap and affect the skin around the mole, possibly  resulting in scarring. Lightly flatten the piece with the blade to squeeze some garlic juice.

2. Put vaseline around the mole. You will need a q-tip to apply the vaseline around the area of the mole. The vaseline protects the skin around the mole. When you apply the garlic on your skin, the juice will lightly burn the mole, removing the layers of skin. The pigment should be gone, and when your skin heals, it will be your normal skin color.

3. Lightly scratch the mole. This is just to make sure that the garlic juice really gets down into your skin. It's not absolutely neccessary, but it may take a little longer to remove the mole if you choose not to.

4. Place the garlic directly on the mole. It's best to use your finger to keep it in place because taping it or using a bandaid can allow the garlic to shift around. Make sure that the only skin the garlic touches is your mole. You don't want the garlic sitting on regular skin. The garlic piece should sit on top of the mole like a puzzle. Keep the garlic on the mole for 15 minutes (edit: some people commented that they had no problems with keeping it on longer, so keep it on for as long as you're comfortable).  If you  find that 15 minutes is too long, you can go ahead and remove it. Keep in  mind that removing it early may mean that you will have to have more of these garlic sessions to fully remove the mole.

5. Wash the area. Clean the garlic juice and vaseline off. This will keep you from smelling like garlic. To remove the garlic smell off of your fingers, just rub them on a stainless steel surface (knife, spoon, sink).

Do this for about 3-5 days or until the pigment is no longer there or the mole scabs over. It took me only 3 days for the mole on my thigh and about 4-5 days for my head mole. The mole on my thigh just rubbed off on the fourth day and the mole on my head scabbed over. When the mole rubs off or scabs over, put some triple antibiotic ointment to encourage healing and prevent scarring.

After the mole comes off, it will leave behind a pink spot where the mole was. You want to prevent it from forming a scab, so it's important to keep it moist with ointment or oils. If it does scab over, it's more likely to leave a scar.

Results may be different for you. My moles were flat and I didn't get any scars. Your mole may not completely go away, only lighten up a bit, or it may go away and come back a week later. It's also possible that you may get a scar. I just wanted to share a method that worked perfectly for me. Hopefully it works for you as well!

If you tried this method, leave a comment and let me know how it turned out for you. I'm curious to see how effective this method is for other people.

  2. Hello (: I just read your post about removing moles :3
Erm.. Just one thing to clarify , the moles you remove are flat/unraised/skinned moles right ? (: or is it those big and raised one ? Cuz I have been searching everyway , most of the removing moles ways (eg.garlic, apple cider vinegar, baking soda ) are for those raised moles. And most ppl succeed in removing moles are unraised moles.. ): so is garlic really able to remove flat moles ? Please reply ! Thanks!!! ^.^

    1. that is my doubt too but the person says hers were flat so garlic must work for flat moles......

  3. Yes, I used this on flat moles. I haven't tried this on any raised moles. The garlic causes the top layer of skin to peel away and it takes the mole pigment with it. Then when you put some ointment on it, the skin heals without the mole. Hope this helps.

  4. hi, i have used this method for 6 days now. Instead of a pigment mole there is now just a red area where the moles was. (It was a flas pigment mole).

Bu if i look closer i can se there are (what i think is) some pigments left. Do i continue whit the process or can i let it heal now? I dont want a scar.

Have you had a similar issue?

Please reply! Thanks for you help!

    1. I did have a similar issue for one of my moles. That mole may come back, but probably lighter or smaller. I did the garlic treatment twice for one of my moles and each time it came back, but lighter and smaller. It's still there but way less noticeable.

If you the pain is too much, I would probably let it heal. It's up to you though, because you might have to do the whole thing again if the mole comes back.

I don't have any scars from this but everyone's skin is different, so it's possible that it will leave a scar. Treat it like a wound to minimize the scarring; keep it moist, put some triple antibiotic ointment on it, maybe a bandaid.

    2. I have one on one of my feet, that I dont like, my idea is to enclsoe the mole by putting tape around it leaving the mole uncovered, then put the piece of garlic and wrap it with some type and leave it there while watching tv or studing but

can you please tell if 15 minutes is the minimum, I would like to know if I could leave the garlic more time, can I leave there for hours, or at least one hour,

are you sure it will work? it is a flat mole, and the only one I have on my foot

sincerly, can tell me if it actually worked for you

    3. Reading the other comments on here, it seems like you can leave it on for hours. I said 15 minutes because I was concerned about it burning, but I guess it's alright to leave it on.

Yes it really works. From my experience, flat moles are the easy ones to get rid of.

  8. I'm working with a LARGE raised mole/wart on the left lower side of my back. I've been leaving the garlic on for hours. Yes there is burning however I do see the mole becoming smaller and that's all I want at this point!! I want it OFF NOW!!! Please advise if I'm over doing the process. BTW: When applying a new garlic on the mole I also poke a hole in the mole with a clean needle.

  9. UPDATE!: Dont forget to add alcohol if you rip your skin by trying to remove the mole with your nail, is not dangerous but it gives viruses and bacteria a headstart.

  10. Hi,I have used this method for moles removal and it really work but for this atleast u need to wait for a week to get your skin cleared.
I tried this method and realized that garlic is so toxic and burn the area so don't use it as a face pack, only use it as small as possible to the affected area..if u have a flat small moles u can get rid of it just by putting garlic 1 or 2 times.. don't b scared as it burns the area but after application of vitamin E capsules it will heal completely and u will get a clear skin..If u r working women use this method in vacations as it might b embarrassing for u in beginning 4 days bcoz your skin area will b burn..

    1. I don't have any experience with a raised mole, but other people commented that it does work with raised moles.

However, I would be hesitant to try the garlic with moles on your face because there is a possibility of a scar. I have no scars but it could happen with other people.

  13. I really found your site helpful. Of the many I researched, felt I could trust it. Trying the garlic method on the only mole I have-- raised, little pigmentation, about an inch from my ear on the right side of my face-- so I had to just go for it. No others to test on. I was very careful to use a thin slice of raw garlic for 15-60 minutes twice a day for 3 1/2 days, on the top of the mole only, and swirled shea butter on the skin surrounding. The first scab fell off on the fifth day. A second scab formed the same day. I'm waiting for that one to fall off, day 8. I've applied organic tea tree oil diluted with organic jojoba oil 2-3 times daily. I've applied poultices of pure organic aloe vera juice or gel 2-3 times per day. I wash it with Dr. Bronner's tea tree soap, diluted about 1 part soap, 6-7 parts Evian water, once per day. I rinse with Evian water. I want to prevent scarring/infection, and have been scared by other sites talking about scarring. I hope it works!

    1. All I did was put triple antibiotic on it and it didn't leave a scar. But then again it wasn't on my face.

I read on other sites that keeping a wound moist will help prevent scarring, so it looks like you're doing the right thing. And tea tree oil is good too because that's what I used for my acne scars that are now gone.

      Delete
  14. Thanks for responding, Keo! The secondary scab did fall off tonight. No sign of infection, thank goodness. I'm hoping the pinkness will fade in a relatively short period. There is also slight concave area in the very middle where the mole was. I'm hoping this will even out in time. I'm applying pure organic aloe vera gel or juice to help increase the possibility that the pinkness and concave area are temporary :-) If it turns out I need to smooth the area, I may try the honey method. But I'll wait for 30 days first.

  15. UPDATE: The site is looking good, healing well. I've decided to include in my recovery regimen poultices of cool organic horsetail herb tea a few times a day. Horsetail contain silica, which helps build collagen and break down scar tissue. I'm already seeing its effectiveness. Wanted to give everyone a heads-up, in case the information can be helpful for your process :-)

  16. I'm removing a slightly raised mole next to my nose. It's the second day and the mole is starting to dry up. I hope it works. As per what I've read, after the mole is removed, the area where the mole used to be will be slightly pinkinsh. My question is, will this stay forever or will it fade away and look normal like the rest of the skin? If it will fade, how long will it take to do so?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. It should go away. My skin heals pretty fast, so when I removed my moles, the pinkness was gone in about 1-1.5 weeks.

It's like a small scrape or cut; just do what you would do to the scrape to keep it from leaving a scar. Some people on here said use vitamin e capsules. The comment above by Ivan has a lot of tips as well.

    1. It sounds like the mole is going to come off soon. I would suggest to continue maybe one more treatment. Make sure the garlic piece is the same size as the mole to avoid burning the surrounding skin.

  24. @Ivan, thank you for the Silica info - exactly what I needed to know (promotes collagen and reduces scarring). <3

    ReplyDelete
  25. @Angie - I'm treating one of mine now - and yes, the garlic treatment did make my mole raise - I believe it's inflammation because of the attention and garlic oil effects. Just be sure to a.) keep the area clean to prevent infection - I use colloidal silver for this but peroxide or other things work too and b.) keep it moist to prevent scarring as you continue - I'm using Vitamin E capsules and a colloidal silver salve. Good luck! I'll post my results as I finish my week of healing.

  26. Holy cats. I had a raised mole on my face about 1/2 wide, and after garlic 3 days about 45min a day, then 4 days of Vit E treatments, all that is left is a bit of pink. The raised part is entirely gone. I'm going to continue the Vit E and report if I can get rid of the pink area. I'm also using a repair lotion. Good luck everyone!

    1. Well it's about three weeks later, and all that's left is a pale bit of pink, super easy to cover with concealer, and it looks like it may still go away completely over the next month.

However it does have a tiny bit of raise area left right in the middle, hardly noticeable, so I'll probably do another round, if I can figure out how to cut garlic bits 2mm wide. Good luck everyone.

  44. I ve been wanting to remove two moles close together on my Cupid's bow, that looked kinda weird and were a bit raised and itchy sometimes. I found online various treatments, including apple cider, iodine and garlic. Garlic was the most recommended. So I applied iodine everynight for 5 nights, and then I would apply vaseline with a cotton pad around the mole before the garlic so it wouldn't cause a scar. I did this for a week and didn't see much of a result, but the skin got a bit irritated and itchy. Unfortunately I scratched it in my sleep and it peeled off a large area and left a bit of a wound the size of a cigar burn - not good. I let it heal, applyng iodine sometimes and after a week it was fine, and the darker mole completely gone while the other one has remarkably shrinked. I don't recommend this harsh scratching that i accidentally did, even though it worked it could have left a scar easily and it was really uncomfortable and didn't look good. But the garlic treatment does work and if you can stand a little pain and be patient, I suggest you give it a try, it pays off.

  45. Note that even though I gave it much thought before I decided to go for it, I generally find moles very attractive and don't mind them on me. I was kinda sad when I eventually got rid of one :P but I have quite a few on my face and I wanted to clear it out a bit. I only targeted two that popped out and were itchy due to skin oiliness (I would scratch them and it would hurt, so I thought I should get rid of them for good) tey were the only two slightly raised on my face and a bit dark. They looked and felt weird. Generally though I think of moles as "beauty spots" and wouldn't get rid of more unless necessary. Thanks for the advice. :)
